The Dalai Lama says that people spend to much time, wasted time, looking for Healing instead of finding the Healer. It is a different framework to work from.
Healing is a verb or an adjective - "My knee is healing," or "The sun is a having a healing effect on me." Whereas, the concept of healer is, in a larger sense, the source point. It is a noun - "The sun is the healer," "The healer touches my knee."
To be healing implies an act of process. To be in the process of healing ultimately implies one can not be healed. To find the healer removes the middle placeholder, the intermediary. In one way, it gives us the ability to takes responsibility by stopping the assignment of our own healing to a process, and instead, initiates a way of thinking whereby healing has passed into a state of being healed.
